1960s Defiant "Transistorised" Record Player on Dansette Legs
This 1960s Defiant "Transistorised" record player sits on stylish (and removable) dansette legs, making it both a statement piece of furniture and a lovely way to enjoy your vinyl record collection.
The record player is PAT tested and in good working order. Unusually the 'on/off' switch is built into the tone knob rather than the volume knob, so it can take a moment or two to adjust the sound to your liking when you play the first record of your listening session. There can also be a bit of crackle when turning either of the two control knobs, but this stops when you stop turning the knob. The case and legs are in good vintage condition showing wear commensurate with their age (see photos).
