Atomic Style Coat Rack & Umbrella Stand
This is a is a seriously cool 1950s atomic style coat rack and umbrella stand. "Atomic style" makes it sound like it should be made of uranium or glow in the dark, but in fact it just refers to any piece (usually made in the 1950s) which features little plastic balls in its design - just like the models that were used to explain the newly discovered structure of an atom to school kids. The piece is made from painted steel and is therefore heavy and stable, so it should easily support all manner of over-garments without tipping over. Overall condition is good with all red balls present and correct. There are some small scuffs and marks on the paintwork, but nothing to detract from the look of the piece.
