STOP PRESS!  Our Bestlite is featured in the July edition of Homes & Antiques magazine (www.homesandantiques.com)!

This is a rare original 1930s Bestlite BL1 desk lamp designed by Robert Dudley Best for Best & Lloyd.  Heavily influenced by the Bauhaus movement, Robert Dudley Best is regarded as one of the great modernist designers and the Bestlite is recognised as a design icon, helped in no small part by the fact that Winston Churchill had one on his desk! The lamp is fully extendable and adjustable and would look stunning in a mid-century modern or contemporary home setting.

The lamp is in good vintage condition with its original blue-green colour on the shade and base showing wear commensurate with its age.  It has its original woven flex and has been PAT tested.
