c1960s G-plan Style Dining Chairs (set of 4)

This lovely set of four mid-century G-Plan style dining chairs was probably made by Lebus in the 1950s or early 1960s, but as they don't carry a maker's mark it's impossible to be certain.  The design was certainly inspired by G-Plan, particularly the ebonised tapered legs.  The back rests are finished in a high gloss lacquer which works really well with the geometric fabric on the re-upholstered seat pads.  The frames are in structurally good condition and the ebonised finish is solid in most areas, although there are some signs of wear on the lower legs.  Most importantly they're really nice to sit on!

We also have a Lebus drop-leaf table that looks great with these chairs - check it out here...
